。。。I'll be honest， it's been almost a year since the last volume was published so I barely remember what was happening， let alone who all these characters are。 I need a comprehensive master list。Anyway， the Rank Wars come to a close with Tamakoma-2 in second place， earning them the right to try for a spot on the away mission， which is the next two phase test。 Meanwhile， Jin and the others of Tamakoma have made contact with the Galopoula neighbors seeking to sabotage the away mission for Aftokrat 。。。I'll be honest， it's been almost a year since the last volume was published so I barely remember what was happening， let alone who all these characters are。 I need a comprehensive master list。Anyway， the Rank Wars come to a close with Tamakoma-2 in second place， earning them the right to try for a spot on the away mission， which is the next two phase test。 Meanwhile， Jin and the others of Tamakoma have made contact with the Galopoula neighbors seeking to sabotage the away mission for Aftokrator。 A little wartime slight-of-hand to move some pieces into better positions。 This also gives us （the reader） some new and very important insider knowledge。In other news， Hyuse rides a bike。 。。。more

Just finished season 3 of the anime so I figured I may as well continue with the manga。 I like how Ashihara is slowly expanding the world of the Neighbors by giving us background on Galapoula and Tamakoma’s Neighbor allies。 Also Yotaro’s identity explains so much lol。 （view spoiler）[Raijinmaru being a trigger kinda makes sense because what kinda regular five year old has a pet capybara。 I’m more surprised that Raijinmaru is a girl lol。 Still， is her og form a capybara？ Did they have capybaras on Just finished season 3 of the anime so I figured I may as well continue with the manga。 I like how Ashihara is slowly expanding the world of the Neighbors by giving us background on Galapoula and Tamakoma’s Neighbor allies。 Also Yotaro’s identity explains so much lol。 （view spoiler）[Raijinmaru being a trigger kinda makes sense because what kinda regular five year old has a pet capybara。 I’m more surprised that Raijinmaru is a girl lol。 Still， is her og form a capybara？ Did they have capybaras on their home planet？ Does Yotaro just like capybaras？ These are the questions I need answers to lol。 （hide spoiler）] Jin is pulling his strings as per usual and we’ve now got a new ally。Meanwhile， B-rank wars are done and Osamu & co。 made it into the top 2 after an epic win against Ninomiya。 Proud of my girl Chika for shooting Tsuji。 Everyone else was way too overprotective of her so I’m glad Hyuse encouraged her to push past her limits like that。 Their next obstacle is the away mission test。 Everyone has been split into 11 teams with 5 members each。 Yuma and Hyuse end up in relatively chill squads。 Unfortunately， Chika is picked by Ninomiya and Osamu is stuck with Katori （who’s still a bitch to me） so poor them lol。 Then again， Ema got picked by Ninomiya too so she has him for company。 It was so cute how desperate he was to be on her team lmao。 My guy radiated 'pick me or die' energy。 I can’t wait to see how they all fair with different teammates in a long-term survival mission and battle。 （view spoiler）[Side note: Not a spoiler but Yuba lowkey hot af with his hair down lmao。 Dude is so fucking intense though。 Absolutely zero chill。 （hide spoiler）] 。。。more

More reviews （and no fluff） on the blog http://surrealtalvi。wordpress。com/This was a really enjoyable volume because it gave us a lot of lore of the world of the neighbors and how Border became involved with them。 There were several 'royalty' reveals but also some great and unexpected twists in terms of Jin's meddling and side effect。 Of course， there is the great action as well since we see the end of the rank wars and the beginning of the discussions that will lead to the away team testin More reviews （and no fluff） on the blog http://surrealtalvi。wordpress。com/This was a really enjoyable volume because it gave us a lot of lore of the world of the neighbors and how Border became involved with them。 There were several 'royalty' reveals but also some great and unexpected twists in terms of Jin's meddling and side effect。 Of course， there is the great action as well since we see the end of the rank wars and the beginning of the discussions that will lead to the away team testing。Story: Although Tamakoma II's rank war ended in their great victory， there is still one other rank war going on。 Chika wants to watch it since it includes her sniper sempai on Nasu's team， Hiura， who is leaving Border to focus on school。 At the same time， though， Galapoula is laboring on how to effectively delay Meedan's away mission without incurring Meeden's wrath or loss of life。 Leave it to Jim to come up with a solution thanks to his side effect！It was great to see the Galapoula guys again and this time we get to learn a lot more about them。 Jin is carefully playing around several futures and eagle-eyed readers will notice that when he says he is not going on the away mission because he has more important things to do on Earth， Kuga's side effect is activated in the background and Kuga gives a 'hmph。' The next several volumes will be about the testing that these groups will go through in order to be selected for the away mission。 This volume， in the meanwhile， is a nice interlude that sets things up。Extras include a side story and a really awesome chart that shows how Border away mission hopefuls answered the question: "who do you want to be teamed up with and who do you prefer not to be teamed up with - and why？" There are some very funny answers depending on which agent that is definitely worth the read。In all， we now enter the next arc of World Trigger: testing in a simulator for the away mission。 But this is a 'do not miss' volume thanks to the lore drops and the funny extra。 Reviewed from an advance reader copy provided by the publisher。 。。。more
